Aquila Apprentice - Finance & Admin Assistant

Aquila are looking for a confident, motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Finance & Admin Assistant to work with our small central team at our office in Folkestone. You will learn basic bookkeeping and general administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who aspires to a career in finance and administration.

What you will do in your working day:

Hands-on basic bookkeeping including generating and placing purchase orders, invoicing and payment runs. Assist the Finance Manager with the overall financial management of our academies. Assist the Senior Administrator with all elements of administration, including telephone queries, handling mail, email communication, managing diaries and communication.

The training you will be getting:

Daily training of finance software package and associated processes including budget monitoring software and reporting. Training of all administrative duties within the office, for example dealing with telephone calls, printing/photocopying, filing etc.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship:

There may be the opportunity of continuing an apprenticeship with the Trust at L3 qualification.
